Melissa is from Merced, CA and is a graduate of Merced High School. She completed her PTA degree from the Institute of Technology, Clovis in November 2022. She previously completed a clinical rotation at BOSPT, before joining the team in December 2022. Her clinical training also includes acute care with military veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fresno, CA. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Kinesiology from California State University, Fresno, where she participated in research intervention programs for infant motor development and individuals with Parkinson’s disease. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, participating in 5ks, and attending sporting events and concerts with family and friends.
