Cupping
Myofascial Decompression (or Cupping) is a therapy which helps with musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. The therapy utilizes suction to create a vacuum between the skin and underlying tissues by way of a process that is the reverse of massage therapy.
- Break up adhesions/scar tissue already present
- Increase blood flow to a slow healing muscle, tendon or ligament
- Reduce scar tissue formation
- Release trigger points and decrease muscle tightness
Kinesiotaping
Kinesio Taping Method is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while allowing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion to ensure you perform your best.
At both our Merced and Atwater locations, we use Kinesiotaping to successfully treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, and neurological conditions as well as working in conjunction with exercise, stretching and strengthening techniques.
Kinesiotaping helps to “re-educate” the neuromuscular system to prevent new injuries, stabilize current injuries, optimize performance, decrease pain or aid in the rehabilitation process.
Normatec Compression
The NICE Cold & Compression device uses advanced technology to greatly improve the convenience of cold/compression therapy. The NICE Cold & Compression delivers precise cold therapy without ice. It also provides programmable pneumatic compression which is proven to reduce edema and speed recovery.
- Decreases edema
- Improves lymphatic drainage
- Improves range of motion
- Provides pain relief
Winback
The Winback Energy is a natural physiological bioaccelerator which stimulates and accelerates the body’s natural repair mechanisms. The winback inhibits pain immediately for a duration of more than 48 hours after treatment, restores joint mobility, which helps patients get back to the sports and activities they love sooner.
- Helps with pain and inflammation
- Decreases recovery time
- Provides longer lasting results
